Originally a large-group piece, Michaela rearranged this dance as a solo work with permission of the choreographer, Angela Sequeira. It is one of her favorite works to perform.
Reflets dans la Nuit
This work was choreographed by Jiselle Henderkott for Barjche, the annual mainstage modern dance production at Iowa State University, and was inspired by "the dreamy quality of the 1970s." Nicest Kids in Ames Excerpt
The piece "Nicest Kids in Ames," a play on the song title "Nicest Kids in Town," features a medley of songs from the musical Hairspray. This is an excerpt of a work choreographed by Christina Golka and Kami Badger. Michaela can be seen in the dark green dress with a white sweater, initially taking her place in the upstage center of the stage.
