Michaela's love for dance extends to wanting to share it with others through education. She sees teaching as just as important an aspect of her dance practice as performing and choreographing. Michaela is a tenured teacher at an elementary school in Minneapolis Public Schools.  She completed a teacher preparation program for dance education at Rutgers University and completed her student teaching in 2021 within the Franklin Township Public Schools district in New Jersey. She holds a Minnesota Tier 4 License for Dance. Additionally, Michaela has experience teaching dance in dance studios, after-school extracurricular programs, and university-based student organizations.
